Cagayan Valley residents warned of heavy rains

Residents of Cagayan and other provinces in Luzon should brace for rains brought about by Tropical Storm Ramon, the state weather bureau said on Saturday.

In a thunderstorm advisory, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said that light to moderate rains are expected over Cagayan (Allacapan, Enrile, Lasam, Piat, Rizal, Santo Niño, Solana and Tuao) and Isabela (Divilacan and Santo Tomas), which may persist for 30 minutes to an hour.—KATRINA HALLARE
