Lahug residents avail of free clinic

A free clinic was conducted in sitio Camagong, barangay Lahug, Cebu City on Nov. 16.

Perpetual Succour Hospital’s medical social worker Juliet Sanchez, together with resident physician Dr. Mae Mañacap and three other intern doctors Joanne Palermo, Victoria Jordan and Jdidah Sealza, trooped to one of the hospital’s adopted barangays.

The team accommodated a total of 121 patients — 87 pedia patients and 34 adult patients — who availed of the free checkup.

They were assisted by barangay health workers Gina Telebangco and Rosalinda Verano.

Free medicines were also given to the residents, including Johnson and Johnson products, Calpol syrup for the children, Biogesic and antibiotics.

Sitio Camagong’s free clinic, with the assistance of PSH, is held every third Wednesday of the month.

The activity last Nov. 16 started at 10 a.m. and ended at noontime.
