Grace Bostolits dumps Marco Polo

GRACE Bostolits trounced Marco Polo Culinary, 106-99, Tuesday night in a friendly match that highlighted the barangay Quiot Proper Youth fiesta at the Quiot open court.

Grace Bostolits jumped to a, 31-17 lead in the opening period with Toly Petiluna scoring 18 of his 39 points in that stretch all from beyond.

But Marco Polo responded with a 28-25 run in the second to move closer at, 45-56 at the half behind Jonathan Daligdig and skipper Roland Español. It also outscored Grace Bostolits, 32-15 in the third quarter to cut its deficit to just six points, 71-77 heading to the final quarter.

However, Grace Bostolits refused to be intimidated in the fourth and outscored Marco Polo, 29-28 to seal the seven-point win.

Toly Petiluna led Grace Bostolits with a night-high 39 points while Roger Quitoy and former UC Webmaster Reymund Yncierto combined for 33 points.

Jonathan Daligdig and Roland Español paced Marco Polo Culinary with 29 and 17 points, respectively.
