Construction worker falls to death from Makati City building

MANILA, Philippines — A construction worker fell to his death from the 16th floor of a building in Makati City on Friday morning, police said.

Report from Makati City police identified the victim as Allan Casil, 28, a construction worker at a building being constructed along Edsa corner Ayala in Barangay San Lorenzo.

Witnesses told police that Casil was working on the 16th floor of the said building when he fell to the ground after accidentally stepping on a worn-out plywood at around 11 a.m.

Casil was rushed to the Makati Medical Center where he later died while being treated.
