MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 4.3 earthquake rattled parts of Occidental Mindoro on Friday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
The quake struck at 9:57 a.m., 82 kilometers southwest of the municipality of Looc.
Phivolcs said that the tremor was of tectonic origin, and had a 29-kilometer depth of focus.
No aftershocks and damage are expected, Phivolcs added.
