Año airs warning on National Students’ Day activities
Interior Secretary Eduardo Año on Thursday urged the youth to “think twice and be more discerning” before joining activities for National Students’ Day that are not sanctioned by the National Youth Commission.
Several groups have organized the first National Students’ Youth camp on Nov. 16 and Nov. 17, which Año warned might be used by communist front organizations “to agitate, deceive and recruit” them. —JEANETTE I. ANDRADE
