MANILA, Philippines — Several local flights were canceled on Wednesday afternoon due to inclement weather being experienced in some parts of the country, the Manila International Airport Authority (Miaa) said.
The Miaa said the following flights have been canceled:
Skyjet
M8 911 Manila-San Vicente
M8 912 San Vicente-Manila
Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal (TCWS) No. 1 was raised over seven provinces as weather disturbance “Ramon” intensified into a tropical storm on Wednesday, the weather bureau said.
These are:
-Camarines Norte
-Camarines Sur
-Albay
-Sorsogon
-Catanduanes
-Eastern Samar
-Northern Samar
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said light to moderate with occasional heavy rain may be experienced over Catanduanes, Camarines Sur, Albay, and Sorsogon.
Meanwhile, Camarines Norte, Masbate, Northern Samar, and Eastern Samar, will experience light to moderate with intermittent heavy rain.
