Duterte visits wake of John Gokongwei Jr., Bong Tan 

MANILA, Philippines – President Rodrigo Duterte visited the wake of two business tycoons late Monday night and before dawn Tuesday.

Duterte condoled with the family of John Gokongwei Jr. at 11 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Park in Taguig on Monday.

Gokongwei Jr, 93, died peacefully on Saturday evening.

The President also visited the wake of Lucio “Bong” Tan Jr., president of airline operator PAL Holdings Inc. at 12:30 a.m. at the Heritage Memorial Park in Taguig City.
