2 Camarines drug suspects busted

LEGAZPI CITY – Police arrested two drug suspects and seized several sachets of shabu” (crystal meth) and handguns in separate drug raids on Sunday in Sipocot, Camarines Sur and Daet, Camarines Norte, a police report said on Monday.

Francisco Guinto Barba, Jr., 42,  was collared at around 7:40 p.m. at his residence in Barangay (village) 14 in Daet,  Maj. Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol police spokesperson, said.

Confiscated from Barba were six sachets of shabu and two loaded handguns.

Barba’s companion Orlando Sacramento, however, was able to elude arrest.

In Camarines Sur, police operatives armed with a search warrant arrested at around 11:30 a.m. suspect Joel Posada at his residence in Barangay South Centro in Sipocot, Calubaquib said.

Confiscated from the suspect were 20 sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P20,000. / gsg
