4 slain in Bulacan anti-drugs operations
CAMP GEN. ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan –– Four drug suspects were killed during a reported encounter with policemen in separate buy-bust operations here.
Police Col. Chito Bersaluna, Bulacan police director, said a certain Rolando died after responding policemen shot him during an anti-narcotics operation at Barangay Tigbe in Norzagaray town.
Investigators said the slain drug suspect engaged the policemen in a shootout about 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
On Tuesday, Mark Panganoron and Mark Anthony Mallares were killed after firing at policemen during a buy-bust operation at Barangay Gaya-Gaya in the City of San Jose Del Monte at 1:15 p.m.
Another drug suspect identified as Allen Omila was killed after reportedly shooting policemen during a buy-bust operation at Barangay Guyong in Sta. Maria town on Tuesday.
Seized from the suspects were more than 40 sachets containing suspected “shabu” (crystal meth), drug paraphernalia, and firearms. Carmela Reyes-Estrope/lzb
