N. Korea ends funeral for Kim

SEOUL—North Korea Wednesday ended a three-hour funeral for its late leader Kim Jong-Il, state TV showed, as the cortege accompanying his coffin returned to the palace from where it had set out.

“The ceremony is over,” an unidentified official told tens of thousands of troops and civilians assembled in the snow-covered square outside Pyongyang’s Kumsusan Memorial Palace.
