P6.8-M worth of shabu seized in QC
MANILA, Philippines — Anti-narcotics agents nabbed two individuals for possession of P6.8-million worth of shabu (crystal meth) in Quezon City on Wednesday night.
Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Regional Office in the National Capital Region (RO-NCR) identified the drug dealers as Antonio Pepito, 49, and Judith Amansec, 48.
Joint operation of the PDEA-RO-NCR Quezon City District Office, Northern District Office, Regional Special Enforcement Team and Quezon City Police District Drug Enforcement Unit apprehended the suspects in a shopping mall along Edsa in Quezon City at 6:34 p.m.
Aside from one kilogram of shabu, the anti-narcotics operatives confiscated a cellphone, identification cards and marked money.
Charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being prepared against the suspects.
