Iligan City’s 3rd most wanted man falls

ILIGAN CITY—-Police arrested early on Tuesday, Nov 5, a suspect in the killing of a former City Hall official.

Maj. James Daleon, chief of Iligan City Police Station 3, said the suspect, Macacna Maruhom, 48, of Digkilaan village, was arrested on a warrant issued by Judge Ali Ombra Bacaraman of Iligan City’s Regional Trial Court Branch 4.

Maruhom is facing a murder charge for the killing of Noel Magaro, executive assistant of then Mayor Lawrence Cruz.

Magaro was shot and killed on October 26, 2017 while watching television at the living room of his residence at Villaverde village.
