MANILA, Philippines — Some 1,068 examinees have passed the Midwife Licensure Examination, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Wednesday.
Mhenrada Kulayan Bandahala of Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital School of Midwifery topped the exam after garnering a rating of 90.95 percent followed by Maricol Urian Canillo of Lyceum of Aparri with 89.75 percent.
The Board of Midwifery gave the licensure test to a total of 2,219 aspirants in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga early this month.
Other examinees topping the exam are:
- Sunshine Dolinas Sucabit (Mary Chiles College) – 89.65 percent
- Keans Louise Godoy Dela Cruz (Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital School of Midwifery) – 89.60 percent
- Lyrica Mae Garcia De Ade (Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital School of Midwifery) – 89.55 percent
- Rowena Anduyan Buenaflor (Gordon College) – 89.10 percent
- Nikki Jane Ponsaran Diocena (Integrated Midwives Association of the Philippines Foundation School of Midwifery) – 88.95 percent
- Angel Oyanib Sumobay (Tecaro College Foundation, Inc.) – 88.95 percent
- Diomedes Baldo Yepez Jr. (Remedios T. Romualdez Medical Foundation) – 88.80 percent
- Cara Alizza Kubota Soledad Kubota (Riverside College) – 88.65 percent
- Cristonuary Aquino Songcuan (Urdaneta City University) – 88.55 percent
PRC said the date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination will be announced later.
