SEOUL – North Korean state television began broadcasting the funeral of late leader Kim Jong-Il Wednesday, with footage of tens of thousands of troops bowing their heads in the snow outside a memorial palace.
A limousine bearing a huge portrait of a smiling Kim led the funeral cortege, which began moving slowly from the Kumsusan Memorial Palace in Pyongyang.
