MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) on Tuesday warned job seekers against jobs posted on fake social media pages using the name of the government agency.

POEA Administrator Bernard P. Olalia said the fake Facebook pages use the name and logo of POEA to advertise employment vacancies in countries like Australia, Canada, Germany, Japan, New Zealand, and the United States.

Among the posted jobs in one of the fake Facebook pages offer vacancies in a car company in New Zealand.
