MANILA, Philippines — A total of 121 truckloads of garbage were collected from the Manila North Cemetery and Manila South Cemetery from October 10 to November 2.
According to the garbage collection report released Monday by the Manila city government’s Public Information Office, a total of 81 truckloads of trash were collected from the Manila North Cemetery (1,003.06 cubic meters) while 40 truckloads of trash were collected from Manila South Cemetery (919.55 cubic meters).
The report not only covered the date of Undas but also the weeks leading up to it, as part of the clean-up in cemeteries before November 1.
The report also enumerated the number of trucks that hauled solid wastes, as follows:

Manila North Cemetery and Manila South Cemetery are two of the most visited burial grounds in Metro Manila during Undas. /kga
