2nd Bulacan village chair slain in as many weeks
zSAN ILDEFONSO, Bulacan–A village chair here was shot dead on Monday, Nov 4, the second barangay chairman in this town to be killed in the past two weeks.
Col. Chito Bersaluna, Bulacan police director, said Barangay Lapnit chair Rosteo Salao, 67, was gunned down by unidentified motorcycle-riding assailants around 6 a.m.
On Oct. 22, Malipampang village chair Felimon Lazaro, 52, was also shot dead in front of a store near his house.
