LUCENA CITY – Police arrested a 31-year-old cook who also allegedly sold “shabu” (crystal meth) in Lucban town in Quezon province on Saturday.

Anti-illegal drugs operatives armed with a search warrant raided the house of Wilbert Palines in Barangay (village) 10 around 5:30 p.m.

The raiders found 10 plastic sachets of shabu — ready for distribution to drug users – weighing 1.45 grams and worth P8,047 in the street market.
