The weather forecast said cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms will prevail over Bicol Region, the Visayas, Caraga, Northern Mindanao, Zamboanga Peninsula and Palawan.

The weather disturbance was brought about by a low pressure area (LPA) spotted 240 kilometers east of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur.

Metro Manila, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, and the rest of Cagayan Valley will likewise have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms induced by the easterlies.

Meanwhile, the northeast monsoon, which will affect northern Luzon, will bring cloudy skies with light rains over Batanes and Babuyan Islands.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers, Pagasa said.
