MMDA: Number coding suspended by noontime on October 31

MANILA, Philippines — The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has suspended the number coding scheme for all types of vehicles starting 12 noon today, Thursday, October 31.

“JUST IN: Suspended na po ang number coding scheme simula alas dose ng tanghali (12 noon) para sa lahat ng uri ng sasakyan,” MMDA spokesperson Celine Pialago said in a text message to reporters on Thursday.

The MMDA earlier announced that it has suspended the number coding scheme only for provincial buses on October 31 and November 4. /gsg
