Official offers health tips for All Saints’ Day
MANILA, Philippines — Health Secretary Francisco Duque III on Wednesday urged people visiting cemeteries on All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day to prepare their food properly and, if possible, not to bring along elderly relatives.
Proper food preparation prevents food poisoning, he said, while keeping the elderly and infants at home protects them from contracting diseases like the flu.
At the same time, the Health official assured the public that medical teams would be at hand to attend to the health and medical needs of the public. —Jovic Yee
