BREAKING: Classes, gov’t work suspended in Manila on Oct. 31

MANILA, Philippines — The Manila City government ordered on Wednesday the suspension of classes and local government work on October 31, Thursday.

Class suspension applies to all levels in public and private schools, the Manila Public Information Office said in a Facebook post.

The government also urged motorists to avoid roads near Dangwa and Manila North Cemetery from October 30 to November 2.
