MANILA, Philippines — The Supreme Court on Wednesday announced that half-day work will be observed in all courts in the country on Thursday, October 31.
Chief Justice Diosdado Peralta said work will only be until 12:00 noon in the Supreme Court, the Court of Appeals, the Sandiganbayan, the Court of Tax Appeals, the Presidential Electoral Tribunal, and all first- and second-level courts.
Malacañang earlier announced that work in government offices will be suspended beginning Thursday noon, October 31.
Half-day work was implemented to provide workers ample time to prepare for the observance of “Undas.” /je
