MANILA, Philippines — The National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) has ordered its regional directors to coordinate with the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) as well as civil action groups and amateur radio groups to assist the public during the observance of this year’s “Undas.”

In a memorandum dated Oct. 28 but released to the media on Wednesday, the NTC directed its regional directors identify and determine the assistance that the agency may provide, such as temporary permits and licenses, to assist and ensure the safety of the public set to travel for Undas.

“Also enlist the assistance of radio, television, and cable TV stations or operators for the proper and timely dissemination of related information,” the memorandum read.
