Batangas village councilor nabbed in buy-bust

SAN PEDRO CITY – A village councilor was arrested in an anti-drug operation in Sto. Tomas City in Batangas on Tuesday afternoon.

The suspect was identified as Eric Ornales, a councilor of Barangay San Jose.

A Batangas police report said the buy-bust happened at 6:40 p.m. in the same village.

Ornales allegedly sold to undercover policemen three sachets of suspected shabu (crystal meth) worth P500. Maricar Cinco/lzb
