MANILA, Philippines — A graduate from the Caraga State University in Butuan City emerged as the topnotcher among the 481 out of the 877 that passed Geodetic Engineer Board Examination, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Monday.

Charlene Gallentes Bolastig obtained a rating of 91.20 percent. Lemuel John Bagtas from the University of the Philippines-Diliman ranked second with a rating of 88.60 percent.

Clifford Arimado from Bicol University placed third with 88.20 percent.
Meanwhile, the University of the Philippines-Diliman and the Pampanga State Agricultural University were named the top performing schools with a passing rate of 100 percent.

The results of the examination were released two working days after the last day of the exam.
It was administered by the PRC Board of Geodetic Engineering from October 23 to 24, 2019.
