DID YOU KNOW: 152,668 deaths recorded Januanry to March 2019

According to the Philippine Statistics Authority, there were 152,668 registered deaths in the country from January to March.

Of this number, 19,749 were from the National Capital Region, the second highest among all regions.

In first place was Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon) region with 23,517 deaths registered. —Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
