Foreign Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr. said he was also closely following the latest show biz scandal involving the Barretto sisters.

“I don’t care if I die driving distracted, I gotta know the latest and the oldest news on this riveting national life and death thingamajig,” the country’s chief diplomat tweeted on Friday.

He was reacting to the road safety ad ran by the Department of Transportation on social media on Thursday titled, “How to be updated with the Barretto family issue while driving.”

The ad warned against checking one’s phone while driving and advised to ask a friend instead to share the latest on social media about the feuding sisters.—Dona Z. Pazzibugan
