MANILA, Philippines — More than 35,000 members of the police force will be deployed nationwide to ensure public safety during the All Souls’ and All Saints’ Day break or “Undas” season, the Philippine National Police (PNP) said Friday.
Gen. Bernard Banac said in a press briefing.
(Starting today until the time travelers arrive from their respective provinces, all our security personnel will be deployed at airports, seaports, and even our bus terminals.)
Banac added that aside from policemen, 99,716 “force multipliers” or volunteers will also be deployed in areas expected to be filled with travelers who are expected to go home to their provinces.
(Let’s travel early to our bus terminals, airports and seaports because of the heavy flow of traffic, as well as long lines.) /jpv
