CebuPac allows rebooking 2 hours before flight

MANILA, Philippines — Starting this Tuesday, customers of budget carrier Cebu Pacific worried about missing their flights due to bad weather, heavy traffic and other unforeseen situations will be given the option to rebook their flights up to two hours before departure.

Cebu Pacific said it would be introducing CEB Flexi — a flight add-on that gives travelers the flexibility to rebook their flights up to two times, for a minimal fee.

The add-on can be purchased during booking through the airline’s website and official mobile app.

The rollout of CEB Flexi takes place while the airline implements a policy on the nonrefundability of all flights booked starting on Tuesday.

The airline said that CEB Flexi is 60 percent cheaper than current rebooking fees and travelers only have to pay the difference in fare, if applicable.

CEB Flexi is priced at P499 for domestic flights, P799 for international short haul flights and P1,099 for international long-haul flights. —Jemore Aning
