Teen survives fall at Baguio school

BAGUIO CITY –– A 16-year-old high school student survived an 18-foot fall from a building of the University of Baguio (UB) on Friday afternoon, according to Police Col. Allen Rae Co, Baguio police director.

Emergency responders rushed the boy to the Sacred Heart Hospital a few blocks away after he fell at 3:30 p.m. from the UB building. He landed on the 3rd floor terrace of the Palangdao Building.

Investigators said the teen may have slipped accidentally./lzb
