MANILA, Philippines — Several domestic flights were canceled on Friday as some parts of the country is experiencing inclement weather.
In an advisory on Friday, the Manila International Airport Authority (Miaa) said the following flights are canceled as of 11 a.m.:
Skyjet
M8 816 Manila-Basco
M8 817 Basco-Manila
The state weather bureau said on Friday that Batanes and Cagayan would have cloudy skies with light rains due to the northeasterly surface wind flow.
Meanwhile, cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms may be experienced over the Zamboanga Peninsula, Western Visayas, and Palawan.
Tropical Depression Perla has also intensified into a storm but it is almost stationary, Pagasa said.
No tropical cyclone warning signal has so far been raised in the country. /je
