SAN PEDRO CITY –– A fire broke out in an informal settlement in this city on Thursday afternoon.
City police chief Lt. Col. Zeric Soriano said in a text message that the fire broke out around 2:30 p.m. and continued to blaze as of past 4 p.m.
He said the fire hit a still undetermined number of houses of informal settlers near the South Luzon Expressway in Barangay San Antonio.
Soriano said firefighters were still in the area and had yet to determine what caused the fire.
