SAN MARIANO, Isabela–A former leader and two members of New People’s Army on Tuesday, Oct. 15, surrendered to government soldiers.
Lt. Col. Gladiuz Calilan, commander of the Army’s 95th Infantry Battalion, said the ex-rebel leader’s name was withheld for security reasons but he had operated in Cagayan Valley.
The two NPA members also turned themselves in to a team of policemen and soldiers. They also surrendered their firearms. Villamor Visaya Jr./TSB
