LIST: Canceled flights on October 16, 2019
MANILA, Philippines – Several domestic flights were canceled on Wednesday due to weather concerns.
In an advisory, the Manila International Airport Authority (Miaa) announced the cancellation of the following flights:
Skyjet
M8 816 Manila-Basco
M8 817 Basco-Manila
A low-pressure area has been spotted east of the country, the weather bureau said Wednesday.
Batanes and Babuyan group of islands are expected to experience cloudy skies and rain showers.
Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers are expected over Mindanao and Eastern Visayas, while partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers may prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country, Pagasa said. /gsg
