3 suspected robbers killed in shootout with cops in Camarines Sur

MANILA, Philippines — Authorities killed three suspected thieves in a shootout Monday in Camarines Sur, police said Tuesday.

Goa town police along with Special Weapons and Tactics operatives of Camarines Sur police have gone.  after three suspects who robbed the Ramirez Lending Enterprise at around 2:45 p.m. at Napawon village, said Chief Superintendent Agrimero Cruz Jr., spokesman of the Philippine National Police.

He said that the authorities shot it out with the suspects who were eventually killed as they tried to flee on board a motorbike.

Recovered from the scene were two caliber .38 revolvers, a fan knife, cash allegedly stolen from the lending business, and the motorcycle.

Police have yet to identify the slain suspects.
