MANILA, Philippines — A University of the Philippines – Los Baños graduate topped the list of passers of the October 2019 chemist licensure examination, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Monday.
Andrew Exequiel Sanchez Tabilog was declared as the exam topnotcher after garnering a rating of 92.25%, followed by a fellow UPLB graduate Gerry Mark Saturos Gubantes who scored 89.65%.
Other passers in the top ten include the following:
- Juan Salvador Salay Dantis from University of the Philippines – Diliman: 89.30%
- Ma Carmela Perez Dela Cruz from University of the Philippines – Manila: 89.00%
- Kitz Paul Delura Marco from University of the Philippines – Manila: 88.95%
- Justin Allen Kuan Lim from University of Santo Tomas: 88.60%
- Querubin Padura Gapas from Bicol University-Legazpi: 88.20%
- Deborah Sia Nicdao from University of the Philippines – Manila: 88.05%
- Jeb Reece Habulan Grabato from University of the Philippines-Visayas: 87.70%
- Nikko Angelo Salvador Carisma from De La Salle University-Manila: 87.35%
PRC said 457 out of 1,085 passed the chemist licensure examination, adding that those who failed to pass the board examination for chemists but had obtained a rating of at least 70% in any two subjects can register as chemical technicians.
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals, PRC said.
“The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination will be announced later,” PRC said.
