MANILA, Philippines — A weather disturbance called intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) will continue to bring rain showers to the province of Palawan and parts of Mindanao, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) reported on Monday, Oct. 14.
The state weather bureau said the ITCZ will bring cloudy and at times rainy weather to the province of Palawan as well as Zamboanga Peninsula, Sulu, Tawi-tawi, and Basilan.
The areas are expected to have a cloudy skies with light to moderate rain showers.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country is expected to have a mostly sunny day with scattered rain showers in the afternoon and evening due to parches of rain clouds.
Pagasa also raised gale warning over Batanes, Babuyan Islands, Ilocos Norte, and northern coast of Cagayan, with wave height ranging from 2.8 to 4.5 meters./TSB
