NAGUILIAN, Isabela — A tricycle driver was killed in a Saturday night collision with a sports utility vehicle at the national road in Palattao village, police said.
Joseph Monteagudo was driving south when he struck the SUV driven by Restituto Baua at about 10:50 p.m. The tricycle driver died on the spot.
Baua, 49, and passenger Joy Agatep, 39, were hurt when the vehicle they were riding crashed into a house after attempting to avoid a head-on collision with the tricycle.
Baua and Agatep were brought to the Isabela United Doctors Medical Center in Cauayan City. /je
