MANILA, Philippines — Several inbound and outbound flights at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia) were canceled due to bad weather expected in areas of destination, the Manila International Airport Authority (Miaa) said Saturday.

In an advisory, Miaa said that most of the canceled flights were flying to and coming from Japan, as the country is expected to be battered by heavy rains and strong winds brought by Super Typhoon Hagibis.
