MANILA, Philippines — A bomb threat disrupted classes at the Marian School of Quezon City on Thursday morning,  a report from the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) said.

The bomb threat on the Marian School was the second to be made on Thursday following the threat sent to the Philippine Normal University earlier.

Vanessa Flaminiano, principal of Marian School of Quezon City, reported the threat to personnel of the Novaliches police station. Police said the bomb threat was sent through a text message from an unknown number at 10:50 a.m.

Personnel from the Novaliches police station’s Explosive and Ordnance Division responded to the school and after a sweep, declared the school safe. /muf
