MANILA, Philippines — President Rodrigo Duterte’s net satisfaction rating slightly dropped in the third quarter of 2019, the Social Weather Stations (SWS) revealed Wednesday.
SWS said Duterte garnered a net satisfaction rating of +65, a three-point drop from his personal record-high of +68 in the second quarter of the year.
Based on the latest SWS survey, 78 percent of adult Filipinos said they are satisfied with the performance of Duterte while 13 percent said they are dissatisfied. Nine percent said they are undecided.
But SWS said that despite the three-point drop, Duterte’s +65 net satisfaction rating is still deemed “very good.”
Duterte’s net satisfaction rating declined in Balance Luzon and Mindanao but increased in the Visayas and Metro Manila, according to the poll.
His net satisfaction rating also slightly dipped in both rural and urban areas, as well as among men and women, it added.
Meanwhile, Duterte’s net satisfaction rating increased in classes A, B, and C but plummeted 11 points among Class E and two points among Class D.
The September 2019 Social Weather Survey was conducted from September 27-30 using face-to-face interviews of 1,800 adults nationwide, with sampling error margins of ±2.3% for national percentages. /kga
