MANILA, Philippines — Isetann Mall in Recto is facing possible closure after the city government of Manila discovered that it was operating without a proper business permit.
This was the revelation made on Tuesday by Manila Mayor Isko Moreno during a media forum in Taguig City.
“The management should explain why its operator does not possess the appropriate permits,” Moreno said in a statement.
According to the city’s Bureau of Permits, Trans Orient Management Company failed to secure a business permit for 2019, unlike in the previous year.
It could be noted that on Monday, Moreno also threatened to shut down Isetann Mall for having stalls that sell alleged stolen phones. /je
