MANILA, Philippines — Motorcycle ride-hailing service Angkas surprised affected LRT-2 passengers with free rides on Tuesday.

This ride-sharing services’ Facebook post also showed photos of thankful commuters getting free rides.
Angkas said free rides will be available from Tuesdays to Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. from LRt-2’s Santolan to Recto stations and vice versa.
The ride-hailing service provider said in a statement that it is working on a “long-term plan to station bikers around the affected areas with corresponding promos.”
LRT-2 resumed partial operations on Tuesday, days after a power rectifier tripped and paralyzed operations. /gsg
