MANILA, Philippines — Police arrested the No. 1 most wanted person of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) in his house on Friday afternoon.
On Saturday, the QCPD Public Information Office identified the wanted man as Jason Serbito, 35, who has an arrest warrant for four counts of carnapping.
A joint team composed of members of the QCPD Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit (CIDU) and QCPD Anti-Carnapping Unit (ACU) served the arrest warrant on Serbito in his house in Barangay Commonwealth at 3:30 p.m.
The CIDU is headed by Maj. Elmer Monsalve and the ACU by Capt. Nelson Sardin.
The arrest warrant was issued by Acting Presiding Judge Gay Marie F Lubigan-Rafael of Quezon City Regional Trial Court Branch 80.
The judge set bail for P1.2 million.
