Rains to prevail over Cagayan, Cordillera regions and Aurora due to LPA
MANILA, Philippines — The regions of Cagayan Valley and Cordillera, along with the province of Aurora, will have cloudy skies with isolated rains due to a low-pressure area (LPA), the state weather bureau said Saturday.
In its 4 a.m. weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that the LPA was last spotted at 455 kilometers east of Baler, Aurora.
The LPA is less likely to intensify into a tropical depression, Pagasa added.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.
