MANILA, Philippines—Fire struck a residential area in Sampaloc, Manila Monday, an officer of the National Capital Region Bureau of Fire Protection said.
Fire Officer 2 Hoover Moral said that the fire, which started around 12:38 p.m. at the corner of Legarda and Bustillos Streets in Sampaloc, Manila, reached fifth alarm around 12:50 p.m.
