MANILA, Philippines – Parts of Luzon, particularly Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Camarines provinces, Aurora, Quezon, and Catanduanes will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to a low-pressure area (LPA), the weather bureau said in its 4 a.m. Friday bulletin.
Localized thunderstorms, meanwhile, will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers over Metro Manila and the rest of the country, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
Pagasa said Luzon would have moderate to strong northeast to northwest wind moderate to rough coastal waters (1.2 to 2.8 meters), while Visayas and Mindanao would experience light to moderate northwest to southwest wind and slight to moderate coastal waters (0.6 to 2.1 meters).
The lowest temperature was 23.2°C recorded at 5:00 a.m. while the maximum temperature will be 33.3°C at 2:53 p.m., it added. /gsg
