MANILA, Philippines — Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong and Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Gen. Oscar Albayalde were civil with each other on Thursday at the Senate before the continuation of the probe on the “ninja cops” issue.
In a video captured by INQUIRER.net, it could be seen that on arrival at the Senate, Magalong greeted and shook hands with Albayalde.
The two clashed during Tuesday’s hearing where Magalong accused Albayalde of allegedly intervening in the 2013 case filed against 13 police officers involved in a drug raid when the PNP chief was Pampanga police director.
Albayalde has denied the allegation. /muf
